Beyonce in NY Times

Beyonce dropped her new album on iTunes at midnight on Thursday and it slowly became the fastest-selling album to date. When people found out about the album’s release, it was all over social media. Christy Ferer thinks that it was an unconventional marketing tactic and it seems to have worked. She thinks Beyonce has set a new trend in the music industry and industry leaders will surely follow the trend with future album releases.
