Pinterest Gets More Personal With Browser Tracking

Vidicom CEO, Christy Ferer, says attention Pinterest users! It was announced on Friday that Pinterest is coming out with a few new features, including personalized pin and board recommendations based on the sites you visit. In an effort to provide its users with a more personalized experience, this new feature will use your cookies, log data and device information to personalize what pins and boards you see. Software engineer Ke Chen explains that the new tools are designed to help you “see more pins you love, and fewer you don’t.”

Another new feature that Pinterest is coming out with is an “edit” button that lets users better customize their home feed. Pinterest really is getting more personal!
