It’s freezing out but there are still plenty of exciting activities to do in NYC this winter. Vidicom CEO Christy Ferer recommends the Hot Chocolate Festival at City Bakery or as Grand Central celebrates it’s 100th birthday, take a historic tour. Next week is supposed to be warmer making it a great time to skate in Central Park. Bundle up and enjoy the season!
Check out the lighting at Restoration Hardware. Make sure to check out their sale. Some great finds that can transform the look of any room.
Christy Ferer, Vidicom CEO, had a wonderful time with great company at the Gagosian Gallery checking out their exhibition of large-scale sculptures by Henry Moore. If you haven’t checked this out make sure to catch it this weekend before it leaves New York: http://www.gagosian.com/exhibitions/henry-moore–november-20-2012
Vidicom CEO Christy Ferer thinks Lena Dunham looked fabulous at the Golden Globes this past Sunday. Congrats to the cast of Girls for their incredible achievement. The show is a mega success. Christy Ferer ran into Lena’s mother, artist Laurie Simmons, and she recalled how she loved creating a feather lamp for my book, Decorating On a Dime. Oh how time flies… Wishing you the best Lena!

The talk of Aspen during the holidays was the Tom Sachs show at the Baldwin Gallery including a walk into a van shaped torture chamber. Weird. Creative. Who would think of this? And the visit of Rufus Wainwright was lively. He played piano, guitar and sang from his new album…CEO of Vidicom Christy Ferer’s favorite is his song, Hallelujah.
