Vidicom’s CEO Christy Ferer thought the beautiful Scarlett Johansson was amazing. The entire first act was 99% her and she was ultra dramatic- quite a contrast from her film acting where she often creates a bit of distance with the audience. She worked hard at drawing in the audience and did a wonderful job. This limited run will be a hit.
Vidicom CEO Christy Ferer loves this incredible photo taken by Cecile Pryor, winner of the Citybuzz NYC Matters contest, while volunteering with her family after Hurricane Sandy. Contest judge Lisa Phillips, Toby Devan Lewis Director, New Museum called it “piercing” and rightfully so. Congrats on your win Cecile!

Visiting Healdsburg California, Vidicom’s CEO Christy Ferer encountered an amazing all green shrub garden -the concept made famous by French landscaper Nicole De Vesian. At a private home they put together varied textures and greens to make a rich garden that almost looks like conceptual art with brushstrokes of subtle shapes and color. Bravo.

Over the weekend, artist Rachel Owens featured a mini show at the New Museum with proceeds going to red hook charities affected by hurricane sandy. Here is Christy Ferer’s instagram image featuring Rachel’s plaster cast of an MRE (MRE-meals ready to eat) that were handed out by the army (as they do for combat troops) to her and other Sandy victims.
